Kids’ Picks — March

Kids' Picks

Kids’ Picks is your opportunity to share those “kid tested, mother approved” books (or mother tolerated, at least). What have your kids enjoyed reading this month?

They can post a guest review on your site, or you can just share what they’ve enjoyed — from birth up through teens.

Link your post up directly, and tell us ages of the children, for easy surfing.

Thanks for participating.

We host a community carnival each Tuesday. Upcoming events:
March 24 What’s on My Nightstand
March 31 I Read It!
April 7 Around the World in Eighty Days — Classics Bookclub
April 14Children’s Classics — Dog stories

    Chrissy says:

Another great one kids and mom’s approved is “The Moose With Loose Poops” by Charlotte Cowan. Actually all of Charlotte’s books would have the kids and mom’s stamp of approval. They’re the best books I have ever seen dealing with childhood illness: the subject is challenging but handled with whimsy, wit and warmth. You can find more about The Moose With Loose Poops as well as her others books here at her website http://www.drhippo.com/

Here is part of a review written about the second book in our Planet Of The Dogs Series: “Castle In The Mist is a great book. If you’re into danger, dogs and drama you’ll love it!”

Nash Guyre, age 8 – Marblehead, MA

We have children’s reviews on all the books in the series. Shall I send them to you?
