Another great one kids and mom’s approved is “The Moose With Loose Poops” by Charlotte Cowan. Actually all of Charlotte’s books would have the kids and mom’s stamp of approval. They’re the best books I have ever seen dealing with childhood illness: the subject is challenging but handled with whimsy, wit and warmth.
