I read this book about 18 months ago, and I LOVED IT and would also recommend it. Heard great things about it, sounds exactly up my alley (especially because I too enjoyed the Year of Living Biblically -- although I wouldn't expect Lauren Winner to make me laugh as much as AJ Jacobs).
