I just posted my favorites from childhood. I also remember reading a book of short dog stories as a kid that I really loved – there was one in there that was especially good. About a man and woman who are brought together by a puppy. It was a sweet story. Ironically, my dog chewed that book up. lol

I just bought the Pokey Little Puppy for my twin grandchildren… who are not born yet. LOL
They need a good collection of books on their bookshelf tho, don’t you think? Due date is in June.

Of course! The Poky Little Puppy! How could I have forgotten that one! I laughed that Amy went with Ribsy. We also read that one but I talked about Henry and Ribsy in my post. This was a really fun theme!
