Has the warmer weather filled up your days and stolen away your reading time, or has all the extra time at the sports fields and shutting kids around resulted in a little bit of extra time to read?
Have you made a plan for this month?
We’d love for you to share your recent reading triumphs with us, or a plan for the next month. Weather you’re working through one book or hope to finish 4, we want to hear about it!

Jennifer lives in Houston with her 2 kids, husband, and dog. In addition to reading, she enjoys travel, Bible study, food, and fun. She blogs about some of these things -- when her nose isn't in a book -- at Snapshot.

Guilty of stealing time to read. Normally I need to busy myself with something else, but opt to read instead and try to cram in the something else later.
Oh, me too, Jessie. Me, too. There are worse vices, right??

Where did April go?! I read more novels than usual this month. Curious to see what everyone else read.
I’ve enjoyed having the warmer weather. Some nice days I’m able to take the books out and enjoy the sunshine as I read.
That’s my favorite way to read, for sure.
I have a set schedule for reading. A kindle book during my lunch break at work (45 min). Then at least a half hour at night before bed.
This is my schedule at well, though I tend to read the same book during lunch and bedtime. I also grab as many spare minutes during the weekends as I can to read.
When I was a working woman, I often read at my desk while eating lunch as well.
I just remembered that (and that makes me happy, because I thought that was in my “I’m not really reading so much these days” period, but I guess not, eh?).
I usually have 2 books going at a time. Daytime reading can be darker, either a mystery or a thriller. While bedtime reading, tends to be lighter in nature like a romance.

I am trying to get my cleaning on a better schedule so that I have more time to read! I’ve been devouring books this month.
Warmer weather? What’s that? Here in Oregon, the sun remains elusive. But when the warmer weather does come, I love reading outside
And come July and August when you have truly delightful weather there, we will be sweltering here, and it won’t be so pleasant.

This is my first time participating, if I remember correctly. Let’s see how this goes. Hopefully this will keep me accountable and faithful to my reading goals.
A bit late, but mine is up now!
Well, my post is quite belated, but better late then never!
I’ve been meaning to participate for a few months. I finally was able to do it and got my first post up! Thanks for hosting.

I know I am late to the shindig as usual…but if anyone is interested…I have Sunset magazine, Southern Living Magazine, The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, and Backpacker magazine….Just finished Vogue. Also finishing the weekend wall street journal….too much reading so I am off to the studio to do more work and play with my little one.
You are late!! In fact, on Tuesday we’ll be talking about our May picks.
I loved the Artist’s Way.
