I haven't read this book, but several others like it and I love preparing freezer meals. I am currently expecting baby #3 in less than a month, so I just made 15 meals and stuck them in my freezer. It'll be so helpful when I don't have the energy to deal with 3 kids and making dinner. Thanks for the book suggestion.

I'm so glad you reviewed this! I have their first book, and even made several of the recipes in it, but found that a lot of the recipes had ingredients that were too costly for our family of (at the time) 8. Now we're a family of 11, but children have grown up, moved away, and most nights we only have six people at the the dinner table. I think it's time for me to check out the "Family Favorites."

Thanks for this suggestion! Once upon a time I frequented a place which markets this idea & provides the food. It was handy to have a meal on hand, but I always wished for more choice that would cater to my picky eating preferences. This sounds like a great guide to get me started doing something on my own, with the recipes I especially like.
