This year was my first Book Festival. It was so much fun, but I spent the majority of my time standing in line to get Paula Deen's signature. In reality, I wanted to see/hear Jodi Picoult, my childhood fave Judy Blume, and many others, and instead I spent all that time just awaiting Mrs. Deen. Next year I'm scrapping the signatures and just hanging out to listen to the authors (I at least got to hear James Patterson speak!). How awesome for you to get to interview some authors though!
