I had not heard of these — or if I had, I'd forgotten. I have a book that is a collection of her magazine columns — I wonder if some of the info. in these came from those writings. Sounds interesting!

Very interesting! She certainly was a woman before her time.

I don't know if I've ever seen a picture of her, but Melissa Gilbert does look a bit like her!
