I mostly listen to audio books. Hopefully I can find whatever you decide on in that format.

Okay, here's an idea, which is not really too new: maybe pick a genre each time, or even a literary time period, and choose a novel (or let everyone choose their own).

Examples–mystery, the Romantic period (which includes a lot of territory), etc.

I like Carrie's idea. I'm looking for an excuse to my make husband sit through Pride and Prejudice, so that's my suggestion.

I think it would be fun to have a Classics Bookclub that is a coupling: where people have to read a book that a classic movie is based on, read the book, watch the movie and review both!

Then I'd leave it open for people to choose which they wanted to read/watch. The following come to mind:

Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation
Mrs. Miniver
Bambi
101 Dalmations
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court

I didn't get to it this month! But I do want to remind Louisa May Alcott fans of my favorite series for tweens (and moms!). They covered Little Women in the first book, The Mother-Daughter Book Club, and all of the books are set in Concord, Mass. Also--for the Classics Bookclub, I've been thinking that I'd like to re-read Lord of the Flies, not having read it since high school.
