This is a book for anyone, but I think kids will especially like it, because they can so easily translate it to their own lives. It’s PersonaliTrees and it’s a cofee table book of beautiful photographs of trees showing emotions, like happy, or loyal or joyous, or even irresponsible. Others show conditions, like achilles heel (I love that one, for some reason). And there’s an inspirational quote that perfectly matches each photo. What I think would be fun is to take your kids and take a camera and go out and find your own “human” trees. What a great way to slow down and actually look at the world around you. Spring is finally coming (thank goodness, I might add…) — this is a fun way to enjoy a nature walk!
