I was one of the five lucky winners of a book for 9-12 age group, and I actually read it--Liberty Porter, First Daughter! I may be two or three months behind, but this is my first time to link up (and to actually read one of the books reviewed), so i hope you will forgive me.
My last job before retirement was as a bilingual specialist, i.e. ESL teacher. I remember Obama's inauguration day and the comments my little seventh grade Hispanic twins made about the cute first daughters. So when I read about this book (http://www.5minutesforbooks.com/2163/liberty-porter-first-daughter/) I thought of them. Although they are beyond the targeted age group, their reading level is not. I spent many fun hours helping them understand the English language and cultural aspects of what they were reading.
I hope to pass this delightful book on to them for their upcoming birthday.
