He started writing the first one when he was 15, and finished it when he was 19. Then his parents published it, and it was picked up by a bigger publishing company after his parents marketed it as having been written by a wunderkind. I agree that if you enjoyed the first two books, you'll like this one. That's less a statement on the quality of the books, and more on your low standards, really. Brisingr, the whole Inheritance series, in fact, isn't literature. It is, at best, an airport trash version of Lord of Rings. If you desperately want something to read but have no actual books to hand, try Brisingr - I assure you it will cure you of your bookwork compulsions soon enough. He didn’t write it when he was 15.
