I’ve had lots of fun and success recently using Doodad Swap (http://www.doodadswap.com). It’s simple and free… worth a look.

I really liked PaperbackSwap…until I had a problem with requestors marking books received. I contacted their customer service & they were nasty. Really nasty. It turns out that unless you’ve purchased postage and delivery confirmation through them, the delivery confirmation is useless. Not only is postage more costly with the fees they tack on you also have a fee to put money into your account to buy postage.

I us both swap sites and love them both for different reasons. Just wondering is anyone knows of any others I would really love to join another one.

swaptree is a incredibly well-built site! Amazing!
Far better design than the other swap sittes. These folks have big things in store.

I LOVE paperbackswap.com! I’ve been using them since 2007.

I’ve also heard good things about bookmooch.com (they have lots of international traders). SwapSimple.com is another site to check out (although it isn’t as good).

I use both book swapping sites simultaneously, and just update my book inventory whenever books are gone. I usually post the newer book on SwapTree, so I know exactly what I’ll be getting for them.

I’m a member of PaperbackSwap and love it. My children are growing, and learning how to read. My son reads non-stop and PaperbackSwap allows me to keep him in new books, and me as well. There are a number of authors I’ve tried thanks to this service. Had I waited till going to the library I would have forgotten names and titles.
