I Read It — August

Someone PLEASE tell me that this summer has been full of lazy reading on the beach or in your yard as your kids are playing or inside in the cool a/c as you avoid the heat. Someone, please. I'd like to at least live vicariously through you! I have probably still read more books than the average joe, but my reading has been way down the last two months, and it's bumming me out. It's been the busiest summer on record for me. So, jump in the comments and tell me how your summer reading is going, and if you have read and reviewed some books, now is the time for you to let other bloggers (and readers web-wide) know what you've picked up at the recommendation of someone else. I Read It — July

Now is the time for you to let other bloggers (and readers web-wide) know what you've picked up at the recommendation of someone else. If a blogger wrote a review that made you run to the library or the bookstore, write up your own review, and give credit to the original blogger if you can remember who it was. If you've reviewed books throughout the month that someone recommended, you can write an "I Read It" post that has links back to the books you've read and post that up (pointing your readers to this link-up so that they can find other reviews), or you can just link those reviews up. I Read It — May

Remember we've changed things up a bit. Instead of only linking thoughts and reviews of books that we recommended here at 5 Minutes for Books or in our column at 5 Minutes for Mom, we invite you to share a review that you read at anyone's recommendation. You can link up any review from the previous month that shares that information. If you don't share that information in your reviews, then write a new post for I Read It! and link back to the reviews as you add in the information. It would be nice if you point your readers to this page so that they can check out the reviews that others link up as well. For ease in surfing, leave the title of the book in the linky, along with your blog name. Non-bloggers are welcome to participate in the comment section. Find out ...
