My kids have enjoyed reading this summer. My daughter (almost 12) has read a handful of books in the last week alone. She's a machine (oh, how I wish I could stay in bed 2 hours after I awaken and read every morning). Kyle (6) is finally sitting and reading chapters. I am over the moon!! Have your kids read any great books that they can recommend to other kids this month? Whether they were forced to read them, enticed by the prizes in summer reading programs, or just happen to love that extra time that summer gives them to read, let us know. Searching for a new series to suggest to your middle grade reader? Wondering what books other young non-fiction readers are enjoying? That's what we are here for.
